SmartTalk is the dedicated heat network software platform that enables optimised heat network installation and service delivery, reducing management time and operating costs. Dynamic –
efficiency management
Want to visualise the profit and loss of your heat network? Want to be able to see where your heat network losses are occurring? Want to drill down into the cause of these losses? Dynamic is our heat network efficiency management tool for visualising and managing the energy efficiency of your heat network. Dynamic grabs all your fuel, energy centre, block, apartment and house-level meter data and allows you to see where losses are occurring on your heat network.
Using VWART (Volume Weighted Average Return Temperature), and other KPIs, which are presented for all energy centres, apartment blocks and heat consumers, you can drill down immediately into problem areas, find bypassing or high return temperature / volume units and remotely rectify without going to site (subject to the cause of the problem). You can search high to low on all KPIs, and toggle between day, week, month and year, to see performance over different time periods.

Telematic –
monitoring of heat network
When your customers phone you with a heating or hot water problem are you left sending out an engineer to diagnose the problem. Are you trouble shooting over the phone with limited data? Telematic solves these problems by giving you full remote control and monitoring of HIUs and CIUs.
With a typical SmartTalk Telematic-connected HIU giving real-time access to seven temperature points, three flow measurement points, one pressure point, as well as remote control of any valves and pumps.
Why does this matter? This means that when a resident calls in with a heating problem, you can see the real-time and historic flow rate around their entire radiator circuit, you can see the flow and return temperature, the pump speed, room temperature and primary valve position. It means you can discuss with the customer their problem without anyone going to site, and in our experience means that most issues can be managed remotely, or if someone needs to go to site, then the task and/or part is understood and can be dealt with quickly.

Validate –
installation & commissioning assistant
Installing and commissioning heat networks without a management platform is like attempting the work one hand tied behind your back. It is hard dealing with which units have had what completed, plot vs flat numbers, upstairs and downstairs, flushed or not flushed, screed dried or not dried, and doing this all on paper or Excel?
Validate solves all these problems by allowing you to instantly see the real-time commissioning state of the entire heat network. Using our traffic light system, you can see team’s progress through the commissioning process, as well as remotely set units to work with automated flushing, screed drying and heating programs. The HIU Passport functionality allows you to register serial numbers, meter addresses and generate final commissioning certificates using data recorded automatically by the system.
Billi –
metering & billing services
Are you providing billing services into heat networks? Billi – the API that allows you to provide metering & billing services to thousands of customers through a single cloud-based API.
Tired of fumbling around with wired Mbus, dataloggers, or wireless systems with poor connectivity? Billi takes the pain away from metering and billing by providing all data through a single cloud-based API, meaning all the work of getting meter data out of the building is dealt with for you. Through Billi you get all meter reads and can write payment transactions and perform a range of tasks.
